Columbus – Frank “Frankie” Kyzer, 38, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Born on June 15, 1977, in Tuscaloosa, AL, he was a son of the late Pearson and Neomi Kyzer Hemphill.
Frankie was a graduate of New Hope High School, Class of 1995. On August 25, 2007, he married Michelle Webster. Frankie worked as a maintenance engineer at River Chase Inn. A member of First Christian Church, he served as a worship leader. Very outgoing and having a big heart, Frankie was passionate about helping people. His wife and children gave him the most enjoyment in life, followed by his membership affiliation with DCMC. One who was a jokester and loved to talk, he enjoyed serving as a 7 & 8 year old baseball coach, loved playing his guitar and listening to Christian music.
Survivors include his wife, best friend, and soulmate, Michelle Kyzer; daughter, Alexis Nelson; sons, Zachary Nelson, Kyle Kyzer, James Kyzer, and Noah Kyzer, all of Columbus; sister, Valerie Kyzer, Florida; nephews, Matthew Robertson and Olden Newman; and a host of special friends.
His Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2016, at First Christian Church, Columbus, with Bro. Jerry Foster and Bro. Ed Maurer officiating.
His family will receive friends following the service.
