Frances Moore Gregory

Olive Branch – Frances Elizabeth Moore Gregory, 91, died peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017, while under hospice care at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch, MS. Born on August 11, 1926, in Amory, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Viola Turman Moore.

Marrying the love-of-her-life, Eddie Ward Gregory, they were blessed with a wonderful son, Eddie. Frances enjoyed socializing by phone and looked forward to the daily calls she received from her dear friends.

She is survived her son, Eddie C. Gregory (Kathleen), Olive Branch; granddaughter, Brooks Gregory, Oxford; nieces, Linda Aldridge, Gallatin, TN; Judy Clinton (Larry), Springdale, AR; nephews, Owen Medley (Melissa), Sand Springs, OK; Mike Jones (Sally), Magnolia, AR.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years; sisters, Evelyn Medley, Smithville, MS; Peggy Jones, Little Rock, AR; brother, Billie Moore, Columbus, MS; niece, Terri Stockman; nephews, Billie Moore, Jr., and John Moore.

Visitation will be from 12 – 1 PM, Wednesday, December 13 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory.

A private Funeral Service will follow in Haughton Memorial Park, Amory, with Bro. Bill Britton officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Leech, Kennon Hood, Terry Garner, Owen Medley and Eddie D. Gregory.
