Amory – Faye M. Cantrell, 62, died on Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Born on November 2, 1948, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Flonnie Ree Honeycutt Morrow and the late Ovie L. Morrow.
Faye was a graduate of Hatley High School, Class of 1966, and of Vaughn’s Beauty College. She worked as a beautician and was a cashier at Walmart for several years. Faye was of the Baptist faith. A kind-hearted and family-oriented lady, she believed in taking care of her parents. Faye enjoyed Gospel music and eating.
She is survived by her mother, Flonnie Morrow, Amory; cousin, Dale Andrews (Terry), Aberdeen; and several other cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Cantrell.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 30 in Masonic Cemetery with Bro. Mike Todd officiating. Pallbearers will be John Kelly Easter, Jr., Joe Easter, Terry Cummings, and Dale Andrews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:45 AM, Tuesday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home.
