Faye Holmquist, 88, of Memphis, passed away at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
Mrs. Holmquist retired from National Distiller and Chemicals. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, boating, skiing, and entertaining her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hudson “Hud” Holmquist; sisters, Mavourleen Trembelas and Dorothy Nash; brother, Darwin Nash; nephew, David Dallas; great nephew, John David Dallas, Jr.; three great-great nieces; a great-great nephew; her husband’s nephew, Andy Holmquist; and six special friends who provided loving care for her for many years.
A Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday in Masonic Cemetery with Mr. Philip Hathcock officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 – 1:45 PM at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory. Everyone is asked to meet at 1:45 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
