Amory – Eunice Lodessa Love, 68, died September 12, 2015, at Darlington Oaks in Verona. She was born on June 12, 1947, in Caledonia, MS.

She was a graduate of Hatley High School, Class of 1965. On October 21, 1971, she married Tommy Love. She worked a majority of her career as a certified nurse in Omaha, NE. She was passionate about everything she accomplished, including serving in the Army National Guard, gardening, veterinarian assisting, an avid reader, culinary skills, and sewing. Most of all, she cherished time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and everyone in her family.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Love of Amory; son, Jim Love of Seattle, WA; daughter, Carrie Asselin (Christopher) of Omaha, NE; step-brothers, Robert Merchant of Oakdale, CA, and Tony Merchant of Gattman; sister, Barbara Stockman of Vernon, AL; and 6 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Merchant, and step-sister, Becky Jones.

Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory. A Private Family Graveside Service with Mr. Philip Hathcock officiating will be held in Masonic Cemetery.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be given to First Friends Respite Center, PO Box 117, Amory, MS 38821.
