Quincy - Etness "T-Bone" Knight, 58, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at his residence.
T’Bone attended Smithville School. Before becoming disabled, he had worked for IMC in Aberdeen, Parham Trucking, and with the Monroe County Road Crew. T’Bone was also a former volunteer with Smithville Fire Department. He was Baptist and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Outgoing, stubborn, yet willing to help anyone, he listened to Country music and was a Jeff Gordon fan. An outdoorsman, T’Bone enjoyed fishing, hunting, sitting outside, and working with his hands.
Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Marie Lollar (Chris), Bankston, AL; son, Lance Lee Knight (Rachel), Fulton; mother of his children, Jackie Knight, Smithville; step-daughter, Angel Justice (Nathan), Becker; sisters, Martha Fowlkes (Robert E.), Becker, Margaret Hall, Amory, Mavis Towery (Bobby Joe), Fulton, Melissa Terry (Tommy), Evergreen, and Marie Lynn Capps (Earl), Saltillo; brother, Earnest Knight (Gail), Amory; grandchildren, Summer, Matthew, and Zachary Knight; Cody Lollar; Kain and Kailie Bertinot; Morgan Colburn; Kyle Justice; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Vaughn, and a brother, Billy Joe Knight.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Robert E. Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Wooldridge, Jason Knight, Keith Towery, Shane Murray, Robert Vaughn and Austin Towery.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
