Eloise D. Long

Amory – Eloise Deaton Collins Long, 94, began her new life in Heaven on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was born on March 2, 1928, in Enid, Mississippi, to the late Marshall Deaton and Rosa Mae Leatherwood Deaton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10:30 am at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park in Amory, MS.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday morning, from 9:30 am until the service hour at the funeral home in Amory.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Key, Hanceville, Al, Linda Smith (Roy), Nettleton; and son, Herbert Marshall Collins, Cowen, West Virginia; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert L Collins and Eulos Long; seven sisters, and two brothers.
