Aberdeen – Elizabeth Louise “EBO” Head, 64, died on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at her residence. Born on July 19, 1950, in Dover, DE, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Howl and Helen Louise Hawkins Foster.
Mrs. Head was a graduate of Hatley High in 1970. On August 14, 1970, she married Bobby Joe Head. Before becoming disabled, she worked at Peoplelounger, Kingsport and Bauhaus. Guided by her love of Jesus, Mrs. Head was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church. Having the ability to make people laugh, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren; Gospel, Country and music by Loretta Lynn; going to yard sales; riding in the car hauler; and watching Price of Right and Wheel of Fortune.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe Head, Athens; sons, Bobby Ervin (Amanda), Amory, Tony Keith and Michael Craig of Aberdeen; sisters, Dorothy Cummings (Ernie), Amory, Patricia Stanford (Kenny), Nettleton and Carolyn Foster (Shannon); brothers, Bobby Foster and Paul Foster (Shirley) of Aberdeen; Steve Foster (Nancy) and James Foster of Amory; grandchildren, Josh, John, Taylor, Austin, Destiny, and Alex; great-grandchild, Alyvia Rea; several beloved nieces & nephews; special friends, John Randle and Van Hoots.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ernest; sister, Sissy Parish; brother, Shane Foster.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, October 23 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Pastor Stanley Blaylock, Pastor Shane Ray and Bro. Steve Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles and Bobby Foster; Timothy Parish; Gary Carr; Nick Ballard; and Dewayne Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua and John Head.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
