Edna Long McHenry Ford, 97, of Quitman, passed away on March 2, 2019 in Amory, MS.
She was born on August 8, 1921 to Samuel Elbert and Lillie (Neal) Long in Clarke County, MS.
Edna was a longtime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She also was a former employee of Quitman Knitting Mill and W. E. Blair and Sons Department Store.
Edna is survived by, 3 Sons, Roger (Jimmie) McHenry, Roy (Barbara) McHenry, and Terry Ford, Daughter, Temple (Walter) Couch, Sister, Maxine Robinson, 11 Grandchildren, Janet (Darrell) Hyde, Cindy (Bubba) Walston, Gina Amaxopulos, Jeffery (Angie) McHenry, Kelly (Amy) McHenry, Kym (Danny) Buskirk, Scott (Dusty) McHenry, Michael (Amber) McHenry, Dana (Ryan) Brady, Brian (Marie) Ford, and Tony (Rachel) Ford, 29 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Michael McHenry, Scott McHenry, Brian Ford, Tony Ford, Jeffery McHenry, Kelly McHenry, Danny Buskirk, Bubba Walston, Darrell Hyde, and Ryan Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Elbert and Lillie Long, 1st Husband, Burnis Lamar McHenry, 2nd Husband, Jesse Marvin Ford, Son, Rodney Earl McHenry, 4 Brothers, Jake Long, Roy Long, Eddie "Cotton" Long, and Aubit Long, 3 Sisters, Claudia Hayes, Annie Cranford, and Palma Moffett.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019, 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Eric Hattaway, Rev. Dennis Kennedy, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
