Fulton – Eddie Lynn Johnson, 58, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016, at NMMC, Tupelo. Born on December 30, 1957, in Racine, WI, he was a son of the late Waylon Count and Ruth Vernell Anderson Johnson.
Eddie attended school in Kenosha, WI. He married Brenda Sellers. Eddie was a truck driver for BM Systems. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. A homebody, Eddie cherished time spent with his baby sister. He enjoyed fishing, especially for catfish; camping; watching Old Westerns and Andy Griffith, and eating great food. He listened to Country and Gospel music and one of his favorite songs was “Long Black Train.”
Survivors include his wife, best friend and soulmate, Brenda Johnson, Fulton; daughters, Mellissa Johnson and Tiffany Gasaway (Phillip) of Saltillo; Ashley Johnson, Brittany Johnson, and Deanna Gray (David) of Fulton; Cassie Lawson (Ricky) of Shannon; sister, Arlene Adams, Sulligent; brothers, Jerry Anderson (Kathy), Mantachie, and Bill Anderson (Terri), Pocahontas, TN; a host of grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Johnson; brothers, Joe, Jim, Wayne and Tom Anderson; grandson, Colton Gray.
His Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, July 3, 2016, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Bro. Reggie Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lann Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Gray, Phillip Gasaway, Jerry Johnson, Tony Lewis, Bobby Gray, and Nate Myers. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Sellers.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2:50 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home.
