Cason- Dwight Bunch, 65, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1947 in Amory, to the late Eulis and Statha Rollins Bunch. He married Linda Hallmark in 1967.
Dwight attended Amory schools and worked as a vendor with Vend Foods, with 20 years of service. A man of Christian values, he was a very caring and giving man who loved to help people. Having a love and a passion to help his neighbors in the Cason Community, Dwight, a former Chief, had over 25 years of service with the Cason Volunteer Fire Department. His dedication and commitment to his family, his community, and the CVFD has earned him the respect of many. He loved to spend time with his great granddaughter, Whitney.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bunch; daughters, Tammy Bunch of West Point and Gloria Spence of Amory; two grandchildren, Nick and Brittany McDaniel; a great granddaughter, Whitney Lynn McDaniel; and an aunt, Maxine Carter.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Bunch and a granddaughter, Whitney McDaniel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, December 19 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Whaley and Bro. Rob Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Members of the Cason Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Carter, Jerry Anderson, and Glenn Parish.
Visitation will be from 5 PM- 8PM, Tuesday, December 18 at the funeral home.
