Dorothy E. Farnham

Amory - Dorothy Elaine McPhail Farnham, 95, of, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Amory.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Memory Chapel in Laurel. Rev. Aaron Parker and Bro. Joe Watson will officiate. Burial will follow at Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery in Prentiss at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Farnham was self-employed as a beautician and was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was a volunteer and director of Red Cross in South Mississippi and enjoyed sewing and craft work.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Farnham in March 2011, and by her son, Rev. Donald J. Farnham.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Becky Welborn Farnham of Laurel; grandson, Jimmy Farnham and wife, Tara, of Nettleton; granddaughter, Janet Kent and husband, Jimbo, of Laurel; four great-grandchildren, Amanda Farnham and Joe Farnham of Tupelo, and Abbigayle Kent and Hudson Kent of Laurel; and three brothers, Otho McPhail and wife, Hazel, Thomas McPhail, and R. T. McPhail and wife, Frances, all of Prentiss.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
