Amory – Donna Haro, 52, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Born on October 17, 1959, in Dearborn, MI, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Wilburn and Wanda Lee Purdom Ledbetter.
Donna attended Leaf River, IL, High School. She married Liverato Haro on February 21, 1981. Passionate about caring for people, Donna worked as a CNA at a Mt. Morris, IL, nursing home and at Beverly Healthcare in Amory. She also worked as a seamstress with Amory Garment. A believer, she was of the Pentecostal faith. Always seeing the best in people, Donna was a jovial and loving lady. With her life focused on family, she cherished spending time with her children and looked forward to all the family coming to her home on the weekends. Donna enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, babysitting, and playing Farmville on the computer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, April 11, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Mr. Marshall Eubanks, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael and Lucas Jimenez, Michael Ledbetter, Robbie Carson, Jesse Pool, and Eric Keeton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaden Haro and Miles Jimenez.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Liverato Haro, Amory; daughters, Amanda Haro and Angelica Haro of Amory; son, Fermin Haro (Brigett), Smithville; sisters, Lucy Agee, Becker, Beverly Clapper (Ralph), Wingo, KY, and Cathy Jimenez (Carmello), Becker; brother, Richard Ledbetter, Amory; grandson, Jaden Haro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rena Haro.
