Donna Crawford Blair

Aberdeen – Donna Crawford Blair, 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Born on October 3, 1941, in Amory, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Martha Pierce Crawford.

Donna graduated from Amory High School with the class of 1959. She initially worked as a Legal Secretary for Buddy Chamberlain and David Houston. She then worked for US District Judge Jerry Davis in the U.S. Magistrates office. Donna also worked briefly in banking and worked in several different flower shops where she enjoyed making arrangements. She was very talented in her work and an excellent decorator.

She was blessed during her lifetime with two loving husbands and two children. Her first husband was Joe T. Morgan, III and they were married 29 years. After he passed, she married Dwane Blair on May 6, 1994 and they shared many wonderful years together. She loved her family both immediate and extended. Donna was a member of River Bend Baptist Church and she was great Prayer Warrior. She loved watching church on TV, studying the Bible and she believed wholeheartedly in the Gospel. Her caring ministry to others was always sending cards, flowers or food to folks in their time of need.

A true Patriot, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed researching the history of the war, genealogy, as well as assisting with gathering the local DAR members for meetings. An intelligent woman, she wasn’t easily swayed to conform with the crowd. Donna loved to listen to Gospel music as well as broadcasts on AFR.

The memories she leaves behind will be cherished forever by her family and friends. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Dwane Blair, Aberdeen; daughter, Missy Kline (Sam), Tupelo; grandchildren, Will Kline (Laura), David Kline, and Sara Kline; great-grandchild, Emory Fraysier; step-kids, Tommy Blair, Cliff Blair and Gary Blair; step-grandchildren, Tyler Blair, Amber Blair, CJ Blair, Brody Blair, Eleana Blair and Hailey Blair.
