Donna Lynn Cagle
Amory – Donna Lynn Cagle, 57, passed away on June 19, 2023 at her residence and she became totally healed. She was born on June 17, 1966, in Amory, MS to Glenda F. Lindsey Tate and the late Donnie A. Tate.
Donna grew up in Monroe County and went to school in Hamilton, MS. She grew up with three brothers and a sister. She went to work at an early age and had a servant heart as she worked in several local restaurants. A woman with a kind heart, she also worked for years helping take care of others in area Nursing Homes. During her lifetime, she was blessed by God with four children and two grandchildren. She was Baptist and loved the Lord.
Her family meant the world to her and even though she had some medical issues, she always put them first. She loved spending precious time with them and she was especially close to her sister, Melonie. In her down time, she liked to listen to any type of music, talking with loved ones, shopping, and eating out, primarily at Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant. Donna also was talented and could make just about any type of arts and crafts.
She will be missed dearly but her family knows that she is no longer suffering, resting in peace. The memories made through the years will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her mother, Glenda Lindsey Tate; daughter, Crystal Cagle, Al; sons, Brandon Tate (Elisha), Amory, Shane Cagle, Smithville, and Brett Harvey, Texas; grandchildren, Breanna and Emma; sister, Melonie Tate, Amory; brother, Jason Lindsey, Amory; nieces and nephews, Ken Allen, Kailen Tate, Cloey, Taylor and Joey Tate; special friend, Esker Lowder.
In addition to her dad, Donnie Tate, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Tate and Jimmy Tate.
A Funeral Service for Donna will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 3:00 pm at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS with Bro. Brandon Harris officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Nettleton, MS.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home in Amory.
