Donna Adkins

Hatley – Donna Adkins, 51, died on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at her residence. Born on April 8, 1959, in Aberdeen, she was a daughter of Ray and Juanita Allen Adkins.
An angel from God, Donna cherished her family. She loved to go camping, fishing and riding her bicycle. Donna enjoyed listening to Gospel music.
She is survived by her parents, Ray and Juanita Adkins, Hatley; sisters, Sandi Smith, Hatley, Tony (Wendell) Westbrook, Westville, and Susan Burks, Greenwood Springs; nieces and nephews, Ray (Jody) Smith, C. W. Smith, Wandava (Todd) Gentry and Carla (Michael) Westbrook; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henery and Anita Allen and Alton and Jettie Adkins; aunt, Lucy Hood; and uncles, Ray, Roy and Bill Allen.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will be in Hatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Smith, C. W. Smith, J. R. Smith, Cory Howard and Jim Conaway. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawn Davis, Caroline Perry, Harmony Holliman, Glenn and Jettie Rogers, Carolyn Horn, Doris Hodges, Francis McCain, and Mattie Jean Upton.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
