David Wayne Tomlin

Amory- David Wayne Thompson, 56, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Born September 25, 1956 in Amory, he was a son of Charlie and Lila Brigman Tomlin.

He attended Becker School, worked in the construction and off shore oil business and was a member of North Mississippi Worship Center. A very generous many, he often put the needs of others before his. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing and playing dominoes.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Kennedy, Amory and Amanda Henderson, TX; son, Dwayne Tomlin, Fulton; sisters, Faye Moffat, Becker and Doris Pace, Amory; brothers, Durley Miller (Barbara), Carolina Community and Herman Tomlin (Patty), Amory; grandson, Mason Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

A Funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Clayton and Bro. Dudley Nash officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Lewis, Steven Clayton, Brandon Clayton, Timothy Clayton, Jerry Daniel Dillard and Jamie Tomlin.

Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5-8pm.
