Dannis Mason

Smithville – Dannis Mason, 63, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at her residence. Born on June 6, 1948, in Smithville, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Helen Ross Thompson.
Dannis was a graduate of Smithville High School, Class of 1966. She married Ken Mason on February 16, 1983. Dannis was of the Church of Christ faith. Before becoming disabled, she worked as a seamstress with Lucky Star. Dannis enjoyed cooking, listening to older Country music, and being outdoors working in her flowers, gardening, and sunbathing. A wonderful lady, she cherished spending time with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Mason, Smithville; daughters, Becky Adams, Fulton and Lana Glasgow, Amory; son, Cayce Carter, Smithville; grandchildren, Brooke Quigley, Trevan Quigley, Archer Adams, Katie Glasgow, and Bubba Glasgow; sisters, Vickie Weatherbee, Allene Morgan, and Kathy Baucom, all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Benita “Juicy” Dixon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Susan Elam and Kelly Thompson, and brothers, Howell, Benny and Darwin Thompson.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, November 23 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Moffett officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
