Mrs. Cynthia McNairy, 41, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at her residence. Born on September 8, 1976, she was a daughter of Mac and Linda Prude.
Cynthia was a faithful member of the Bread of Life Church where she served as a teacher in the children’s church and was a spiritual leader in the sing and dance worship team. She married the love of her life, Ervin McNairy on September 3, 2007.
Cynthia graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High school in 1995. She received her Associate of Science Degree from Itawamba Community College. She also attended Mississippi State University. Throughout her career, she was a caring and loving special education teacher assistant for her students at Amory High School.
Cynthia was a very outgoing young lady who loved people. She shared her love with everyone she met. She loved to read and most of all loved to spend time with her devoted family. Her memories will be cherished forever.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is survived by her husband, Ervin McNairy; sisters, Teressa Randle and Lawanda Green, both of Fulton; brothers, Billy Prude, Tupelo and Tim Prude, Alabama; grandmother, Wanita Pope; God-Parents, Apostle Linda Rogers and Bishop Marquette Rogers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Henley.
A celebration of life service for Cynthia McNairy will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Bread of Life House of Worship, Amory, MS. Bishop Marquette Rogers and Apostle Linda Rogers will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Burns Cemetery in Athens.
