Amory - Courtney Leigh Ann Houk, 21, died on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Born on March 1, 1990, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Bobbie Dianne Glover and the late Jessie Coy Sandlin.Courtney attended Amory High School and graduated from ICC and Cisco Community College, Abilene, TX. Before working as a clerk at Food Giant, she had worked at Payless in Texas, at Knight’s Snow Cones in the Summers, and in sales at Best Buy. Courtney was a member of Fig Hill Church of God. Fun-loving and on-the-go, she enjoyed fishing, swimming, spending time with her family and friends, riding around, and gossiping with her friends. Always willing to help others, Courtney’s pride and joy was her daughter, Addy.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, January 8 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Kendrick, Bro. Tony Rooks, and Bro. Shane Cruse officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be C. J.
