Smithville – Courtney Danielle Easter, 21, died on Thursday, April 27, 2011 as a result from the tornado in Smithville. Born on August 27, 1989, in Effington, Illinois, she was a daughter of Jimmy Davis and Katie Donetta Easter.
Courtney attended Smithville High School. A very caring person, who was giving and full of energy for life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Courtney was employed by Southern Foam in Amory. Courtney had many friends whom she loved doing things with everyday. Courtney was a Christian and enjoyed all music, especially Country.
She is survived by her father, Jimmy Davis of Smithville; her mother, Katie Donnetta Easter (Danny Holliday) of Amory; sisters, Kimberly Long (David) and Kristina Easter (Jesse Jones) both of Amory; brother, Damian Easter (Leia Mixon) of Amory; grandparents, Linda Spears of Springfield, MO, Jewell Holley Tibbetts of Amory, Frances Cox of Smithville and Charles Easter of Sulligent; nieces & nephews, Bryce Long, Alex Bradley, Cade Long, Dalton Bradley, Ty Long, Jesse Jones, Jayne Jones, and Dixie Jones; special friend, Chris Crenshaw. She was preceded in death by her step-grandmother, Jeanette Vann and her uncle, Kenneth Patterson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with burial Mr. Mickey Beam officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Walters, Mark Spradling, Eddie Brewer, Jesse Easter, Bobby Easter, Jr, Terry Long, Mitch McCoy and Drew McCoy.
