Constantino “Pee Wee” Cuevas

Amory – Constantino “Pee Wee” Cuevas, 63, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Diversicare Nursing Center, Amory, Mississippi. He was born on December 24, 1958, in Ario De Rosales, Mexico to the late Agustin Ayala, Sr., and Maria Baltazar Ayala.

Constantino grew up in Mexico with a large family including 11 other siblings. He served in the Mexican Army before he eventually moved to the United States and proudly became a US citizen. Pee Wee had great work ethic and for many years he was employed at the Amory Oil Mill. He was blessed by God with three children and several grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Pee Wee was a member of the Catholic Church and he loved God. Whenever possible, he would always do for others.

A jokester, Pee Wee loved nothing more than making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed passing time tinkering with stuff, working on cars, or gardening in his yard. Pee Wee’s two dogs, Bonnie and Lucile were like family to Pee Wee and they always went everywhere with him. He liked to listen to Mariachi Bands, Elvis, Gospel, Country music and any type of music with Hispanic artists.

A one of a kind man, Pee Wee will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him. They will cherish all the memories made through the years.

He is survived by his children, April Lindsey (Chris), Amory, Delia Steele (Rob), Tupelo and Roman Cuevas (Brittany), Nettleton; grandchildren, Zachary Owens, Maygan Owens, Callen Lindsey, Landon Cuevas, CJ Cuevas, Zoey Bass, Adrianna Cuevas, Dominick Steele, and Oliviana Steele; great-granddaughter, Brynnli Owens; sisters, Rosa Ayala, CA, Yvette Ayala, Illinois, Glodia Ayala, Mexico; brothers, Miguel Baltazar and Aturo Ayala (Lorena), both of Ario De Rosales, Mexico.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Rafael Ayala, Florenso Ayala, Chungy Ayala, and Agustin Ayala; one sister, Maria Cardena.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
