Clinton Ausborn
Amory, Miss.—Clinton Hoyle Ausborn, 89, died on Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home. Born February 3, 1924 in Smithville, he was a son of Wylie R. and Margaret T. Duncan Ausborn. He was retired from True Temper Sports and he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A family man, he was also noted as an accomplished musician.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is assisting the family.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Camp of Smithville; 3 sons, Kenneth W. Ausborn of Amory, Roger D. Ausborn of Tupelo, and Michael E. Ausborn of Smithville; 2 grandchildren, Cynthia C. Ausborn and Cory D. Camp; 7 great-grandchildren, Austin Camp, Summer Camp, Jr. Camp, Kailen Tate, Kenneth Tate, Alisha Davis, and Abrigale Camp; care giver, Cynthia Cruse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Jason Camp.
