Christian A. Mccollum

Amory— Christian Andrew McCollum, 22, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Born on August 15, 1995, he was the son of Ricky and Jan Christian McCollum.

Christian attended Amory Schools and obtained his GED before taking trade courses at Itawamba Community College. He was a hard worker who was employed by United Furniture. Christian made a profession of faith at an early age, and continued his journey with God throughout his life.
Christian loved helping people and always looked out for others in need. He had a generous heart and cared for his family and friends. He was an avid collector and spent much of his free time on his phone. Christian leaves a lasting mark on those who knew him and will be forever remembered for his loving heart.

Christian is survived by his parents, Ricky and Jan McCollum, Amory; grandmother, Mattie Lou McCollum, Amory; aunts and uncles, Pam Christian; Sharon and Paul Miller; Allison and Tony Mears; Charles and Lois McCollum; several cousins; and special friends, Hayden, Harley, Kent, and Chris.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James W. and Sue Whitehead Christian; and Doug McCollum.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 12:30 P.M., at Auburn Baptist Church Cemetery in Tupelo. Bro. James Rutledge will officiate the service. Pallbearers will include Paul Miller, Hastings Miller, Tanner Mears, Tony Mears, Charles McCollum, and Wesley McCollum.
Visitation will be Saturday morning, June 30, from 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home.
