Lafayette, TN – Charlotte Pickle Navickey, 71, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Nashville, TN. Born on October 4, 1940, in Smithville, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Millie Knight Pickle.
Charlotte enjoyed working in her garden and listening to music. An animal lover, she had several dogs, cats, and birds as pets. A former member of Smithville Baptist Church, she attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Lafayette.
A Graveside Service with inurnment will be held at 2PM, Saturday, March 17 in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM, Saturday.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Navickey, Lafayette; sisters, Julia Carter, Homewood, AL, Myrtle (Red) Robinson, Houston, TX, and Eunice Pearce, Smithville; brothers, Huey (Billie) Pickle, Knoxville and Dewey (Peggy) Pickle, Lindenhurst, IL; special niece, Gail (Tommy) Ford, Amory; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Juanita (Brandt) May, Bella Vista, AR; and step-daughter, Maria (Dick) Gillespie, Waukegan, IL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Arlie and Arnold Pickle; Grace Gilliland, Dorothy Clay, and Otis Pickle.
