Carolina Community—Charlotte Ann Branham Hester, 65, died on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at her home. Born December 11, 1947 in Smithville she was a daughter of Hubert and Modean Franklin Branham. Before her retirement, she worked in the furniture industry and she was a Baptist. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Scott Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Debra Hughes (Tony) and Carol Stafford (Gary) both of Nettleton; one son, Travis Hester (Janice Neal) of Nettleton; 3 sisters, Pat Hudson (Dicky) of Tupelo, Jerri Nash (Jimmy) of Smithville, Sue Nix (J.W.) of Smithville; 2 brothers, Billy Branham (Marylene) of Smithville and Charlie Branham (Anita) of Amory; 9 grandchildren, Danielle Hughes, Ashley Hughes, Kayla Lindsey (Adam), Shawn Stafford, Samantha Stafford, Jessica Hester, Brett Hester, Erica Terry, and McKinley Neal; and 12 great grandchildren, Brantley, Joshua Eli, Peyton, Jayda, Tanner, Elizabeth, Patience, Trevor, Anniston, Sereniti, Jaidyn, and Marlee; and mother-in-law, Georgia Hester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mirl Hester; second husband, Alan Edwards; and father-in-law, Claxton Hester.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Stafford, Brett Hester, Shawn Denton, Adam Lindsey, Dylan Potmesil, and Nathan Hester. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Hester.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
