Amory---Charles Wayne Smith, 72, passed away at his residence on July 15, 2022. Born on November 8, 1949 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Charles A. Smith and Christine Pickle Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Evans Smith who he married on April 1, 2008; a daughter, Elizabeth (Libby) Pickle, Amory; grandchildren: Madison Tharp, Chloe Tharp, Emma Tharp, Makalah Skinner; sister, Karen McCollum (Johnny), Athens Community; nieces and nephews, Thomas McCollum, Ava & Teddy McCollum.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Andrews “Andy” Smith; the mother of his children, Luna Maxey Smith.
At this time, there are no services planned.
