Charles Richard Ruth

Amory - Charles Richard Ruth, 58, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at NMMC, Tupelo. Born on September 3, 1960, in Starkville, he was a son of Charles Babe Ruth and Frances Ruth Davis Ruth.

Charles attended Meridian Schools. He honorably served his Country in the US Air Force. Charles was an excellent mechanic, working for OK Tire in Aberdeen. He was a former long-haul truck driver for Royal Trucking of West Point and for Bigbee Transportation.

He loved his family and enjoyed being outdoors. Charles was passionate about riding motorcycles. An outdoors man, he enjoyed working on vehicles. He enjoyed listening to Country music.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Lee Alonso Ruth, Pearl; daughters, Deidra M. Ruth and Cassidy H. Ruth; sister, Nancy Williams; brothers, David, James Vincent and Andy Ruth; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tanner and John; a niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, June 17, 2019, at Van Fleet United Methodist Church, 1546 CR 164, Van Fleet, MS 38877.
