Charles Anthony
Tremont, Miss.—Charles L. Anthony, 78, died on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Born March 8, 1935 in Marion County, Ala., he was a son of the late R.J. and Evie Brewer Anthony. He married Patsy Wilson. A graduate of Hamilton Schools, he worked nearly 50 years as an exterminator owning and operating Anthony Pest Management and he was also a cattleman. He was a Baptist.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Bobby Fowler and Tony Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Wilson Anthony of Tremont; one son, John Anthony (Deanna) of Tremont; one brother, Dexter Anthony (Bobbie) of Haleyville, Ala.; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Mask, Zack Mask, and Emily Mask; two great grandchildren, Tahrleigh Frederick and Alli Mask; nephews, Bobby, Terry, Michael, and Myron Anthony; and special friend, Richard Upton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James R. Anthony; two brothers, Verdell “Pete,” and Harold Gay Anthony; and two sisters-in-law, Nell Anthony and Cheryl Anthony.
Pallbearers will be Noel Kennedy, Zack Mask, Tom Jackson, Richard Upton, Benji Poole, and Wayne King.
Visitation will continue until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
