Carter Delane Clayton

Nettleton – Carter Delane “Gummy Bear” Clayton, infant son of Maggie Mae Clayton, was stillborn on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 10:05 PM, at NMMC Women’s Center.

Baby Carter was loved by many. He loved when his uncle, Bobo, would lay his phone on his Mama’s belly and play music. He would kick so good and do flips. Carter would kick and move when his uncle, Boo Boo, would rub Mama’s belly. Mama could tickle her belly and baby Carter would just kick her so hard.

Baby Carter is survived by his mom, Maggie Mae Clayton; grandparents, Jerald and Amanda Clayton, of Nettleton; grandparents, Joey and Kim; uncles, Jerald (Jessica) Clayton, Nettleton, and Danny (Tamra) Clayton, Troy; Godmother, Tiffany Spradling; great-grandparents, Jerald, Sr. (Nancy), Nettleton, and Janie Dyson, Iowa; a baby cousin, Hadley Raine Clayton; Godparents, Tesha Todd and Andy McCray; an aunt, Sereniti Crossen.

Baby Carter was preceded in death by his grandfather, Danny Miller.

The service for Baby Carter will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, July 23 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Bro. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery, Nettleton.

Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:50 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
