She was born February 10, 1947, in Birmingham to Fred B. Honea and the late Dean Rye Honea. Carole was a graduate of Ensley High School in Birmingham. Being artistic, she worked as a decorator and also worked at Kroger prior to her retirement. She married Frank Camp on September 16, 1966, who survives. Being family oriented, she loved her daughter and her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a member of Priceville Baptist Church in Lee County. She enjoyed cooking, cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting and crafts. She is survived by her husband Frank Camp of Saltillo; her daughter, Jodie Cleveland (Dallas) of Blue Springs; her father, Fred B. Honea of Birmingham; her sister, Brenda Moore (Bob) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Bryant, Chase, Zeke, and Landon Camp, Kendall and Nick Isbell. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank F. Camp.A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, October 28, 2011 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Pilcher officiating. Burial will follow in Boggan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Cleveland, Williams Gwin, Jerry Camp, Ed Hunter, Michael Moore, Bob Moore.Visitation will be Thursday, October 27th from 5-8 pm and will continue Friday, October 28th until the service hour.
