Carl L. Fulmer

Wren – Carl Lee Fulmer, 82, passed away March 26, 2019. Carl was the son of the late Thomas Leonard Fulmer and Ella Jane Potts Fulmer of Fayette, AL.

Carl was a very kind, compassionate, fearless, and hardworking gentleman who made his home in the Wren Community for over 45 years. In his later years with failing health, he became affiliated with Shepherd’s Chapel Worship and watched and listened early each morning to daily Bible Studies to start out his day. He also had the philosophy to “Work Hard & Play Hard.”

Carl is survived by his daughters: Deborah Haines (Steve) of Wichita, Kansas, Brenda Walker (Ben) of Louisville, MS, Mary Philley (Dale) of Aberdeen, MS, Becca Greenwood (Lanny) of Ingrams Mill, MS, and a son, Joe Fulmer (Becky) of Saltillo, MS. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his brothers: Mack Fulmer, Guy Fulmer, Paul Fulmer, and Robert Fulmer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Common Ground Church, 30514 Hwy 41, Nettleton, MS 38858 with Bro. R. K. Willardson officiating. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Sanctuary Hospice, P O Box 2177, Tupelo, MS, 38803.
