Bruce spent the first couple years of his life in Illinois and moved with his family to Monroe, County where he graduated from Hatley High School. Bruce married the love of his life, Audrey Elaine Marshall on August 4, 2006. God blessed him with three daughters, and several grandchildren. He was a Christian and let the Lord guide his life. In addition to being a great provider, he was a loving person who was very honest. Bruce enjoyed picking on people and getting a good laugh whenever possible. Besides his wife, his brother-in-law, Bobby and he were close friends.
Whenever time permitted, Bruce enjoyed playing his guitar, playing pool, and just spoiling his pets. He liked listening to 70’s rock music as well as Christian music. Talented musically, Bruce wrote some Christian songs, of which one was taken to Nashville and produced, reaching #12 on the music charts.
