Brenda F. Palmertree

Wren- Brenda Faye Palmertree, 68, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Gilmore Regional Medical Center. Born November 26, 1945 she was a daughter of Hubert Palmertree and Faye Scrinver Leamond. She attended school in Watervalley and retired from Tecumseh. A lady who enjoyed life, she loved being in the outdoors looking for Indian artifacts and fishing. She also enjoyed reading, cooking and collecting.

She is survived by her mother, Faye Leamond, Oxford; sons, Franky Mixon (Vicki), Montrose, AR and Jimmy Clarke, Tampa, FL; sister, Wara Smith (Riley), Oxford; brothers, Cary Palmertree (Carol), Tupelo. Robert Palmertree (Lynn), Tupelo, Ross Leamond (Kay), Oxford and Wallace Leamond, Oxford; grandchildren, Joseph W. Mixon, Dominick Clarke, Stormy Clarke and Brittany Hall; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Palmertree.

Brenda’s family will have a family gathering at a later date. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements.
