Amory - Bobby Gayle Tribble, 71, died on Friday, August 23, 2013 at his home. Born November 9, 1941 in North Carolina, he was a son of the late Harold Robinson and Velora Brown Tribble.
He was married to Linda Isbell. A Methodist, he was also beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A graduate of Hatley High School, he proudly served 25 years in the U.S. Army and before his retirement, he worked for 17 years for the BNSF Railroad. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to estate sales, playing cards, dominoes, and gardening.
A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Dr. Lloyd Sweatt officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Tina G. Holcomb of Amory, Teresa L. Holley of Hatley, and Tiffany A. Comer (Dee) of Wren; 7 grandchildren, April Fooshee, Jacob Holcomb, Tessa Holley, Jordan Holcomb, Courtney Fooshee, Kelsey Holley, and Sydney Holley; two great grandchildren, Lexius Jean Edwards and Witt Comer; and nieces and nepews, Harold Tribble, William Tribble, Debbie Myatt, and Jan Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and two brothers, Billy Harold Tribble and Raymond Earl Tribble.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Fooshee, Patrick Traynor, Jody Comer, Josh Comer, Barry Tribble, and Steven Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert McNeece, Roger Miller, and David Thompson.
Visitation will continue until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
