Bro. Billy Mcbunch

Amory - William David McBunch, 67, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Community Hospice, Verona. Born on September 5, 1947, in Tupelo, he was a son of the late Chandler and Audrey Leigh Ridings McBunch

He attended school in Nettleton. On September 9, 1979, Billy married Brenda Sue Griffin. He pastored for over 35 years. Some of the churches he pastored include Pine Grove and Antioch Baptist Church. He loved to work as a farmer and he worked with dirt excavation. He always enjoyed helping others. He loved to talk and be around people. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved his time with the lord. His favorite music included the oldies and gospel.

Survivors include his Wife, Brenda McBunch, Amory; daughters, Faith McDaniel(Brandon), Amory, Michelle Leslie(Ralph),Palmetto; son, David McBunch (Courtney),Amory; brother, George McBunch(Nona), Amory; grandchildren, Landin and Elijah McDaniel, Emily Kennedy(Daniel), Jackson,TN, Blake Greenhill; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Charley Kennedy; several nieces & nephews; and a host of special friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 18 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Bubba Kennedy and Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hester, Mike Harris, Tommy Bullard, Buddy Chism, Brandon Lindley, Jerry Reese and Junior McDaniel.

Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
