Amory - William “Bill” Sanford Boswell, Jr., 75, of Amory, died at his home Wednesday, July 23. The son of the late William S. and Edith M. Boswell, Bill was a graduate of Cleveland High School and Delta State University. An interest in hosting foreign exchange students resulted in his working tirelessly with Rotary International, and for many years the Boswell household graciously hosted students from all corners of the globe.
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Davis Boswell; four daughters: Stacey Lampkin (Billy), Katherine Boswell, Nan Thompson, and Dorothy Boswell; three grandchildren: Jessie Lampkin, Molly Lampkin, and Carter Thompson; three sisters: Beth Jacks (Gerald), Kathy Nichols (Tom), and Melanie Wadlington (Warner); sister-in-law, Dorothy Davis; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
