Betty Earl Sisson

Galesburg, IL - Betty Jean Earl Sisson, 89, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Serenity Village. Born on December 1, 1926, in Arkansas City, Kansas, she was a daughter of the late James and Jessie Wright Graves.

Formerly of Amory, Betty Jean was very artistic. She loved arts and crafts, skating, and her dog, Buddy.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy Earl (Debbie), Galesburg, IL; daughter-in-law, Terri Earl, Amory; grandchildren, Debbie Bales (Pat) and Andy Bean (Kathy) of Fulton; Gina Vorce (Jeff), Tampa, FL; Lindley Earl, Annapolis, MD; Melissa Ledford (Jack), Houston, TX; and Jami Logan (Josh), Montgomery, IL; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Russell Earl; son, Gene Earl; daughter, Shirley Earl Bean; son-in-law, Joel Bean; sister, Opal Ellouise Green; brother-in-law, Leo Green; and sisters-in-law, Myrtle McCauley and Mabel Johnson.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory, with Bro. Doug Bridges officiating.
