, TX – Beatrice Nash, 95, died on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Belmont at Twin Creeks. Born on November 24, 1915, in Itawamba County, she was a daughter of the late Escar and Verna Mattox McCrory.Mrs. Nash attended Tremont schools and married Carl W. Nash on June 7, 1937. Retiring in the late 1980’s, she worked as a floor lady at Wilson’s Manufacturing and at the garment plants in Hatley. A compassionate and giving lady, she was a member of Hatley Primitive Baptist Church. Always doing for others, Mrs. Nash’s priorities were her faith, family, and friends. She enjoyed baking cakes, quilting, making afghans, needlepoint, flowers, working in her yard, and doing search-a-word puzzles.She is survived by a son, James Carl Nash (Linda Ann), Plano, TX; sister, Sue Cantrell, Columbus; sisters-in-law, Martha Nash, Hatley, Okeva McCrory, Steens, and Carolyn McCrory, Nettleton; granddaughters, Jennifer Cambre (Aren), Dallas, TX, and Kimberly Johnson (Jamey), Midland, TX; great-grandchildren, Alec and Ethan Cambre, and Jaden, Addison, and Lindyn Johnson; special friend, Jeanette Kent, Hatley; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Nash; and brothers, L. E. McCrory and William Alfred McCrory.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, September 24 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Elder Tim Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Hatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
