Born on October 9, 1960, in Amory, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Wicks and Marietta Eden Martin Pearson.Barbara was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1978, and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Aberdeen and the Presbyterian Women’s Organization. Barbara retired from the Medical Records department at North Mississippi Medical Center. A loving, caring, giving and determined lady with a huge heart for others, Barbara’s family, especially her son, was most important to her. Enjoying the outdoors, Barbara loved working in the yard, sunbathing, camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. She enjoyed listening to a variety of music and spending time with her dog, Sport. An avid Ole Miss fan, she was a member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association.She is survived by her son, Dalton Lee Cousar, Aberdeen; special friend, Steve Gill, Coontail; sisters, Becky Lynn Pearson (Chuck) Tackett, Wren, Marcia R. Pearson (Armando) Escarcega, Tucson, AZ, and Sharon (Ron) Aldridge, Amory; nieces, Amber Eden Paepke, Veronica R. Escarcega and Hannah Jackson; and nephew, Alexander “Alex” Escarcega.A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Monday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Pearson, Ben Harlow, Steve Gill, Ronnie and Rex Allen Thompson, and Peter and Eden Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Creekmore, Chris Wallace and Jimmy Harlow.Memorials may be given to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital Foundation, P. O.
