Audine Sims

Eunice Audine Renfro Sims, 86, died on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Born February 4, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Eulous Richard and Aline Smith Renfro.

She married Itha Ryon Sims; he died in 1961. She was a homemaker and took pride in raising her children. She enjoyed reading, sewing, listening to country and gospel music, and working with her flowers. She was a Baptist.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Brewer, Rodney Brewer, Josh Brewer, Richey Brewer, Blake Bowen, and Ricky Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Smith, Timmy Brewer, Terry Brewer, Matt White, and Eric White.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Barbara Janette Harrell of Tifton, GA, Nancy Ann Brewer of Amory, and Linda Carol Holloway of Hamilton; one son, Clarence Daniel “Danny” Sims of Sumpter, S.C.; one sister, Flora Aline Kyle of Wren; one brother, Clady Clayton Renfro of Sulligent, AL, 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Itha Ryon Sims; one son, Itha Ryon Sims, Jr.; one sister, Emma Jean Renfro Adams, and one brother, Grafton Ranfro.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home and will continue until service time on Wednesday.
