ANTHONY 'TOBY' GAVIN
Amory - Anthony L. 'Toby' Gavin, 49, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Community Hospice-Darlington Oaks in Verona. Born on December 28, 1960 in Columbus, MS, he was the son of the late Walter and Ruby Stickland Gavin.

Toby attended Lee HIgh School in Columbus. Living in Amory for the past several years, he was a member of Cornerstone Family Fellowship in Amory. He was employed by Hollis Roofing and Nicholson Homes. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his brother, Barry (Sherry) Gavin of Aberdeen; sister, Diane (Butch) Luke of Columbus; God-Parents, Otis and Louis Summerford of Amory; 2 special friends, Candy Canterburry of AMory and Dianna Hawkins of Smithville; 4 nephews; 1 great-nephew; 3 great-nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Lula Mae Hill sister, Shirley Bean.

A Graveside funeral service for Toby will be held at 1 PM, Friday, at Haughton Memorial Park in Amory with Bro. Malcolm Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Wright, Joe Hilliard, Rick Adams, Butch Luke, Todd Sanders, Phillip Sanders, and Brandon Gavin.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 am until 12:45 pm.
