Annette Knight Flowers

Amory — Annette Knight Flowers, 73, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, November 9, 2018. Born in Amory on October 14, 1945, she was a daughter of the late William Levis and Erdis Conwill Knight.

Annette grew up in Amory and graduated with the Amory High School Class of 1963. She married the loved of her life, Glen Flowers, on August 27, 1965. Together they were blessed by God with two sons. Annette was a devoted wife and mother who had a servant heart. She worked with public at P & S Clinic, then worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. McDonald and Dr. David Boyd, until her retirement in 2000.

An encourager, Annette will always be remembered as a kind-hearted supportive woman. She was a selfless woman who always put others first. She could always be found with a smile and she was most happy when she was with her husband Glenn and surrounded by family. She loved The Lord and her family dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health declined. She loved gospel music, specifically, the songs “The King is Coming” and “How Great Thou Art”. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, and flower gardening.

The love and faithful devotion which was given to Annette, by her caregivers, during her final years was a treasured gift. These caregivers were her loving sister, Mary Etta Reeves, her nephew, Steven Reeves, as well as Susan Smith, and Liz Bell. The family would also like to acknowledge the kindness and care given to her by the Legacy Hospice Staff. Her family celebrates as they know she is healed and with her Savior. Annette will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Annette is survived by her sons, Mike Flowers (Terri), Amory, Keith Flowers (Renee), Iuka; sister, Mary Etta Knight Reeves, Amory; grandchildren, Drew Edwards (Hannah), Rachael Flowers, PFC Michael Charles Flowers, Ashley Dexter (Cameron), Peyton Flowers; step-grandchildren, Blair Thornton, Brett Thornton; great-grandchild, Henley Edwards; step-great-grandchildren, Sunni Lindsey and Fisher Lindsey; special caregiver and nephew, Steven Reeves; special caregivers, Susan Smith, and Liz Bell; several nieces and nephews.
