Anne Lois Edwards

Amory – Anne Edwards, 70, died on Friday, December 14, 2012, at Golden Living Center. Born on June 11, 1942, in Memphis, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Victor and Amanda Jane Sullivan Trimm.

Mrs. Edwards married Travis Danny Edwards on October 25, 1996. A homemaker, she was an immaculate housekeeper. Having an eye for women’s fashion, Mrs. Edwards was a buyer for Corvette Department Store, St. Louis, MO, and Woolco Department Store, Tucson, AZ. After moving to Amory, she worked in the local garment industry for many years until forced to retire after a car wreck. She attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. Edwards enjoyed fashion, decorating, fishing, playing cards, and Country music.

She is survived by her husband, Travis Danny Edwards, Amory; sons, Thomas Parrent, Sikeston, MO, and Sean Hefferman, Amory; sisters, Betty Jean Steagall, Amory, Barbara Mathis (Jerry), Cordova, TN, Mary Bennett (Randall), Bea Palazzolo, St. Louis, MO, and Joan Reeves (Stan), Amory; granddaughter, Jessica Hefferman, Amory; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Robert Joe, Eugene Junior, and Richard Trimm.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, December 15 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Reeves, Jamie Knight, Chris Pickle, Dustin Simmons, and Josh Bennett.

Visitation will be from 1:30 – 3:20 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
