Annie (Ann) Katherine Randle Phillips passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at The Meadows in Fulton, Mississippi. She was born on October 3, 1933 to the late Clovis Sale Randle and Frances Christine Atkins Randle of Aberdeen, Mississippi.
As the sister to three brothers, Ann learned how to live, play and think like a boy, providing her with valuable experience that she not only used on the high school basketball court, but also in the world of business.
After graduation from Aberdeen High School, she began an adult life that provided her with many wonderful opportunities to live, learn and work in various sections of the United States and abroad. After becoming a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, Ann began a long and successful career with the Del E. Webb Corporation, developer of the first community designed for senior citizens. Ann retired as a Vice President with the corporation. In addition to her work responsibilities, Ann was also an active member of the Arizona Republican Party and was selected to serve as a delegate to the National Republican Convention.
She had many friends and was of the Methodist faith. Ann enjoyed traveling and golfing and was also an avid baseball fan, attending many of the spring training events held in the Phoenix area. Welcoming family and friends to her home was very special for her. She always made sure to treat them to the best planned tours of everything that Arizona had to offer.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husbands, Hank Raymond and Bob Phillips; her brother, Silas Randle; her sister-in-law, Alicia Gomez Randle; and her brother, Sale Donald Randle. She is survived by her brother, David “Pete” Randle and sister-in-law, Julie Pickle Randle. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
