– Andree Fae Cantrell, 87, passed from this life on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Oak Tree Plantation, Amory. Born May 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late R.T. and Ola Pearce Cantrell.Fae lived her life with a strong work ethic, helping others and most of all having faith in God. He attended Greenwood Springs schools. She owned and operated Fae’s Café in Birmingham until moving to Pensacola FL then worked in the manufacturing business at Monsanto in Pensacola FL before her retirement. She regularly attended First Freewill Baptist Church unless she was sick. Gardening, working with her flowers, feeding the hummingbirds and shopping with her sisters gave her most enjoyment in life. She was a loyal friend and was passionate about her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sisters, Nell Inman (Frank) of Southaven, Rose Coker (Ed), Carolyn Knight (Joe) all of Amory; sister-in-laws, Betty Cantrell of Amory and Vivian Cantrell of Bertahatchie; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Edna Richardson, Katherine Allen, Josephine Beasley, and Loui Myatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, John, J.C. Cantrell; sisters, Evelyn Woods, Mae Killan, Myriam McKay; two infant siblingsA Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, April 22, 2012 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Bill Duncan and Bro Chris Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Pickle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Cantrell, Joey Knight, Jared Knight, Luke Benedict, Mark Benedict, and Keith Woods.
