Wren – Amanda D. Massey, 36, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013, in Memphis. Born on April 6, 1977, in Birmingham, AL, she was a daughter of Terry W. and Nancy Clark Hallman.

Amanda was a graduate of SBEC, Southaven and attended ICC. After graduating from Beauty School in Memphis, she worked as a hairdresser. Growing up Baptist, she was a former member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Having a big heart, a beautiful smile, and a great personality, Amanda was passionate about helping others, enjoyed telling jokes, doing crafts, singing, shopping and spending time with her mom, and listening to U2.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kristen Olivia Massey, Wren (fiancé, Kip Reese); granddaughter, Holland Massey; sisters, Stacey Hallman, Wren, and Paige Kennedy (Bubba), Evergreen; nieces, Lydia Heinz and Hadrien Hallman; and special friend, Josh “JOCAWA” Warner, Memphis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, August 28 at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Clark and Bro. Bubba Kennedy officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 – 2:50 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Faith Ministries, 1634 N Veterans Memorial Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38804.
