Tupelo – Alicia Renea West Harville, 33, died on Friday, April 8, 2016. Born on December 30, 1983, in Augusta, Georgia she was the daughter of Lester West of Amory and Janice Simpson Weaver of Arizona.
Growing up in Monroe County, she was a graduate of Amory High School. She was of the Baptist faith and she was loving and caring person. On February 7, 2016 she married Owen Thomas “Tom” Harville of Tupelo. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother to her daughter Jennifer West. She worked serving the public in the Restaurant Business and last worked at KFC in Tupelo. Alicia loved to read books and watch horror movies. She especially enjoyed Stephen King and James Patterson books. Alicia loved to cook. She was talented and colored the intricate patterned coloring books and she made some beautiful pictures. She really enjoyed music, especially country music and the Back Street Boys. Her personality was friendly and contagious to all that met her. She was very much a people person.
Survivors include her husband, Owen Thomas “Tom” Harville, Tupelo; her parents, Lester West and Janice Weaver; one daughter, Jennifer Marie West, Amory; one brother, Charlie “Boo Boo” West and wife Edie, Phoenix, AZ; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Rhonda Harville, Tupelo; an aunt, Flora Roebuck, Hamilton; uncles, Clemos West, Amory; Timothy West and wife Jackie, Vidalia, GA; grandmother-in-law, Alicia’s “Maw”, Betty Harville, Tupelo; sister-in-laws, Heather Harville and Amanda Harville Wesson, both of Lee County; brother-in-law, David “D.J.” Harville, Tupelo; a host of extended family, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and LuVada West, Aberdeen; two aunts, Elizabeth Eldridge and Nora Faye Coleman; three uncles, Elbert and Delmos West; James Strickland.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, April 21, 2016, at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory with Bro. Dewayne Bailey officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 – 6 PM, Thursday at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory.
