Amory – Kathy Ann Jackson Myers, 58, met her Savior face to face on December 22, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1964, in Amory, MS to the late W. Frank Jackson and Mary Francis Cody Jackson.

Kathy grew up in Monroe County and graduated from Amory High School in 1983. She went to work at an early age initially as a Seamstress at Amory Garment. Her last job was as an Assembly Technician at Matalloy Manufacturing in Verona, MS. Kathy was a loving, kind person who was very proud of the family she helped raise. She was happy go luck and had a certain charisma about her that always made people smile.

Putting others first, Kathy was generous and lived out her faith daily. She was a member of Gregory Chapel Baptist Church and believed in God. She genuinely enjoyed visiting with others and really liked to just spend precious time with her family. Kathy had a close friend, Johnny Kyle and they did so much together. In her free time, she liked to work in the garden and grow beautiful flowers. She liked sewing and also to listen to Country and Gospel Music. The outdoors was where she found peace, especially fishing or just traveling around.

She will be missed dearly yet her family has complete confidence that she is completely healed and with God. The memories made through the years will be cherished forever.

Left behind to treasure the memories are her sons, Johnathan Walter Hall, Amory, and Nathan Marcus Moon, Amory; sister, Glenda McCrory, Nettleton; and brother, Dennis Jackson (Nita), Amory; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Francis Jackson.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Amory Historical Society Cemetery, Amory, MS with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating.
